Free or Low Cost Images

Hi All,

I am looking for sites which I can obtain free or low cost images for websites as well as marketing material.

I have used istockphoto many times, but I'm sick of seeing the same images on every other website!

Probably the best two starting points

Blue Vertigo (http://www.bluevertigo.com.ar/bluevertigo.htm) has a lot of links to free and low cost stock photos.

Wikipedia has a great page on public domain images resources (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_domain_image_resources)

I guess that is the symptom of using cheap or near free images. They are attainable to everyone.

Have you tried these? I came across them recently. :)

sxc and stockexpert are owned by istockphoto now aren't they? So may find similar images popping up on those too..

did you check istockphoto? they have good collections of images. try that sometime ;)
