Woot, I might try to make this.

I've been feeling lonely (and he complains that his wife will find out and kick him out)

+1 Sayer's Cafe, Carr Place, Leederville. Follow the trail of graffiti from the train station.

Would it be an issue for a person to attend that may be in a position to offer and/or have a need for freelance design services.

i.e. I am not a freelance designer but have a need for some freelance services while also being in a position to offer the freelancers some back-end development services. I dont want to tread on any toes here, just simply wish to get involved wherever I can.

If this is not the forum for this or the meetings just say so and direct me to the appropriate area.

Cheers,
JB

Post the call out in employment,

But you are very welcome, this is exactly what these meet ups are all about networking etc. I look forward to seeing you there.

I vote for Leederville =D It's very accessible, right next to train station, plenty of carpark.

Okay folks I'm looking very strongly at Leederville.

But which cafe.... need one that is not going to be swamped by us all, and GOOD coffee. Need you local Leedervillians to recommend ASAP. making a decision by the end of today.

SOLD.

Cranked, opposite Kailis, is probably best for a medium sized group - good coffee also. Sayers is nice, and it's next to the 220 ghetto, but probably too small.

The coffee I had a Cranked today was pretty average... But yeah - Sayers is a bit small.

yeah espresso was a bit fail yesterday, but generally cranked is good.

they use fiori, not 5 senses. but they have more room than sayers, plus wifi.

Cafe Culture, part of the Summerset Festival is running in Mt Lawley Thu, Fri, Sat. Most of the events are afternoon/evening, but there are a few art exhibitions, etc, in the area to check out after a coffee.
