Hi Port80 Peeps and Peepets,
Firstly I hope I have placed this is the right spot, please let me know if not, I don't like making other peoples houses untidy!
So I'm new to Port80 really, I'm a british designer who has moved to Perth, and taking the step into finding out who and what is in/on the network on my doorstep. I researched and seen AWIA was started in Perth (I beleive?) so am hoping I am knocking on the right forum door here.
I have seen there is a monthly meet too in WA, which is very cool, if a little daunting too, although it does sound very welcoming.
I'm a classicly trained graphics designer, who in 99 studied web design, and form then on in have tried to make pretty clicky graphics "clicky" to say the least.
I'd love to hear your recommendations of where/how/who to starting face-to-face networking as well as online. I am hoping you peeps from this well established forum can help me!
....and what's goats got to do with daylight savings?! Is it like a secret handshake if you bring a goat?
