Hey there,

Is anyone using Flash CS4 at the moment? I'm really interested in using the new 3D rotation and translation tools it has for web design.

I've come across a few really good introductions on the subject but I can't find anything else past the basics.

I've already tried Paul Burnett and his Flash Downunder series - it was really good but I would like to see something a bit more, such as dealing with z-space in actionscript.

Has anyone come across some good tutorials or any good books you may recommend?

To really open up the potential of 3D in AS3 you'll want to look into a 3D API like Sandy3D (http://www.flashsandy.org/) or Papervision 3D (http://blog.papervision3d.org/). Both have decent documentation.

Also kirupa.com (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/3dindex.htm) is always a great learning resource for flash.

Cheers Levibuzolic.

Kirupa.com is very helpful indeed. I'll check out Sandy and Papervision to see where it will all take me

gotoandlearn (http://gotoandlearn.com) have a few tutorials on 3D, including papervision. This one is just using the 3D capabilities of FP10 though - http://gotoandlearn.com/play?id=103
