For anyone who wasn't there on Friday night or following along on Twitter, the winners have been announced on the site:
http://www.webawards.com.au/news/wa-museum-and-equilibrium-win-most-outstanding-web-site/
List of all finalists and winners: http://www.webawards.com.au/winners/
Congratulations to all winners and finalists, especially Equilibrium and the Museum, who scooped the pool :)
As the first year that the WA Web Awards have been the Australian Web Awards, there was still quite a strong WA presence - I think over here we're just used to entering everything that we've done, whereas the Eastern States were more cautious. Still, one quarter of the entries and one third of the finalists were from outside WA.
Here's hoping next year is an even truer representation of Australia's web talent.
