PHP Programmer Required

Just putting this out there, ultimately I need a full time php programmer but right now that isn't an option.

What is an option though is 2 weeks work for someone who loves programming with php and is good at it. Pay negotiable.

Catch is that I operate from Waroona (110kms south of Perth) and would actually like for the programmer to work from the office here for those 2 weeks.

Am I dreaming or is there someone out there keen to visit this 2 dog town and help me out, with a potential for full time work in the not too distant future?

Looking for a wordpress programmer south of river Perth Western Australia (offices in Bibra Lake or Mandurah), ASAP to be technical lead in development of new not for profit website. Position is paid for the right person - negotiable. We will be relying on you to use your knowledge of wordpress to make the right descisions and to provide advice, as well as some coding. Thus must have lots of experience with wordpress (plugins sutom post type development, custom db stuff) PHP5 (and OO), CSS. Design and the ability to communicate design descisions, constraints and requirements is also considered very important. Looking for someone who can work collaboratively in a team. Perth Based Cofounder Wanted

Hello

Firstly my apologies if this is not the right place to post this.

My name is Neil Charlton and I am an English web developer with over 10 years experience currently living in Perth with my family.

I've been working part time on a web app for the past 2 months and I've come to the realisation that to fulfil its potential I am going to need some help. I am new to Perth and ideally my cofounder will be living here too.

I am looking for a designer / creative cofounder to come on board and help take the product forward. I would be happy to give up half the company under the right circumstances.

I need someone who

- loves designing for the web and is at the top of their game
- can write css3, html5 and jQuery (I can too - but there is a lot to do!)
- enjoys blogging
- is available at least 20 hours per week to begin. Once we start earning money - full time
- has energy, is enthusiastic and enjoys smiling :)

About the Product
The product is currently being bootstrapped but I have invested $12000 of real cash so far. I will be happy to show you what i have in person. I am able to work about 20 - 30 hours a week on it starting very shortly.

I would rather not talk any more specifics on here - I can do this in person with you. However I will say the market is growing rapidly and is a global market. Now is a good time to be getting involved.

There are already people doing what we will be doing (in a slightly different format) and they are starting to make a lot of money. We will be differentiating so it is not just a copy. The point is - there is less risk than a traditional startup with no market.

If you are interested in meeting for a coffee and a chat to find out more then please get in touch. It would be good to say Hi even if in the end it is not for you.

Just to be clear. This is not a paid position to begin with. I am looking for someone to help build a company. Not for the faint hearted!

Wanted : Shared Office Space - Perth

Hi All.

I work for myself and have been doing so from home for the two years, after being employed for 20 years in the design industry. I live in the eastern hills and as things get busier, I am finding I am traveling to more and more meetings in the city and surrounds. Obviously, the traveling takes a chunk out of my week so I am looking to minimise this.

Outside of the traveling situation, I am looking to share an office space with a person, or persons (or even sublet a room from a business) who are like-minded (i.e. technology, design, web development, nerding it up).

Location wise, areas such as the CBD or some of the inner-city burbs would be preferable. Mt. Lawley, Leederville, North Perth, West Perth, Northbridge etc. I don't need a huge amount of space but location and affordability are obviously important.

Overall, I'm fair easy going, like all the usual stuff - coffee, music, beer (yes I make a mean homebrew), geeking it up.... so if you can point me towards some space you have, or know someone who does, it'd be great to hear about it. If not, spreading the word via Twitter and your other networks would be appreciated.

Windows Vista Recovery Disks

Hey kids,
The WordPress hack that made all my WP sites redirect to some dodgy Lithuanian Exploit Pack Download/Installer (Phoenix?) also gave me some nasty sh*t on my machine.

I've since cleaned it up, gotten off my slack ass and updated all my antivirus stuff, and started to put things back together but...

There is still a bloody laundry list of things that go wrong. Any one of them can be Googled and fixed in minutes, except when I do that I run into another problem, and then another, and another, and down the rabbit hole we go.

I've tried recoveries and the automated backup thingies and just about everything, so trust me, I'm waving the White Flag at the right time and just want my proper OS back. I just don't have any disks.

YIKES, so a very long post to ask, "Does anybody know how I can get my hands on a Vista Recovery Disk?"
