Default Review of the Port80 Forums

These are quiet. Should we close them? Should we change them? How? If there are no suggestions or comments, goodbye Forums.

I like the forums, but I don't contribute content to the forums.

I usually ignore AWIA's Facebook and LinkedIn channels because of the noise.

The content here is usually on topic, but very thin on the ground.

I still visit every day but have found that when I put up content for discussion it typically either invites sideways sarcasm/humour or people who bitch like it's their profession.

I think, just for fun, I'll personally email those that used to be/sometimes still are active on this forum and see what they think. I'll link to this post.

Actually, there is little noise on either at the moment. FB is quite fun and some interesting posts. LinkedIn is reasonably quiet but plan to use it for more serious discussion. Thinking about limiting LinkedIn to members which will reduce spam obvs.
