Default IE7 Tax

You may have seen our (unanswered) request for someone to help make the Association's Crowdies site work in IE7.

Coincidentally, you may have seen this stunt from Ruslan Kogan.

He's declaring a tax on purchases made through IE7 at a rate that increases over time. Cute.

Is MS doing enough to relieve us of this dead weight? What else could they do?

When I first started developing, in '98, it was "Watch out for Netscape 4.0".

'Course, back then if somebody put something out for the community to check out, and people had all sorts of detractions against it, they were obligated to help get it on track by virtue of opening their mouths.

Things have changed I s'pose.
