Wanted - Web Developer/Designer!!

Lateral Aspect is a leading WA creative agency is looking for a highly talented Web Designer/Developer to join its Perth team.

This is a position for a creative thinker who understands visual design, user experience and is proficient in front end web development/design.

Working under the agency’s Digital Creative Director, the role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and proficiency in the areas below.

Required:

• A demonstrated understanding of HTML & CSS
• A solid understanding of design principles, including branding and visual hierarchy
• The ability to implement plug-in solutions (e.g. JQuery)
• Knowledge in modern web standards and cross browser development
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (CS4 and above) including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Flash

Strongly preferred:

• A demonstrated understanding of PHP and mySQL
• Database design capabilities

An understanding of SEO and digital marketing would also be an advantage.
