I always make sure our sites validate before being put live - because it's not hard to do. Unfortunately you can't guarantee what a client will do with their content afterwards.

Validate your HTML. Know what it means to have valid HTML markup. Understand the tooling. More information is always better than less information. Why fly blind? Nobody cares if your HTML is valid. Except you. If you want to. Don't think for a second that producing perfectly valid HTML is more important than running your website, delivering features that delight your users, or getting the job done. so we don't throw away OO and go back to GOTOs because -we care- about that stuff, just like our site's validation. just don't expect the client or the customers to. |
