want to meet developer-friendly designers

Warning - this is not a real job. I just want to meet freelance designers who I can call on to do Good Stuff on the web.

You should have informed opinions on:

- Graphic Design
- UI design
- any scripting language
- any Unix
- any source control system
- why top 40 commercial radio is the devil

I'm in Perth, Left Australia, but you can work from anywhere in the world that has bandwidth and electricity. Designers using ruby on OSX will be put at the top of the list, and I will place a small pirate stamp next to your name.

I totally have about three pads of those stickers. They are tops. Also the halloween ones and the 80's sayings and the ponies. and sea creatures.

People, Grant has top taste in stickers. Believe anything he says.

I live with one. Not a day goes past with some deep discussion on kerning. Though I'm not "technically" a designer, I live and breathe design or more like can't get away from it.

- UI design
Love it x 10. Also a handy conversation topic to deflate the over inflated egos of many graphic "beret wearing, latte sipping fashionistas" designers I know.

- any scripting language

sorry I miss the mark here. But would gladly learn if I can ditch Window$ EDIT: which reminds me i have 4 days to buy Window$ or go bust.

I've only had minor experience in SVN. Pretty bad level of knowledge so sorry.
